Proposition C

Proposition C invests in Beaumont’s parks and recreation system with projects that enhance safety, accessibility, and community amenities. It includes replacing unsafe playground equipment across multiple parks, renovating outdated restrooms, and major upgrades at Tyrrell Park. The proposition also funds the conversion of Athletic Complex #4 into modern baseball facilities, ensuring high-quality recreation spaces for families, athletes, and visitors.

  • A system-wide renovation of park restroom facilities; replace outdated, unusable facilities with modern restroom facilities.

  • Converts softball fields on Complex 4 into baseball fields. Upgrades to restrooms, dugouts, fencing, bullpens, and other amenities to allow year-round use.

Playground equipment and park improvements


This $3 million project will replace aging playground equipment and make safety-driven improvements across multiple Beaumont parks, including Halbouty, Cottonwood, Fletcher, Perlstein, Guseman, Collier’s Ferry, Magnolia, Tyrrell, Rogers, Riverfront, Roberts, and Central Park. Many playground structures are well past their usable lifespan and no longer safe for public use.

park restroom renovations


This $1.8 million project will replace outdated and unusable park restroom facilities with modern, accessible units. The upgrades will fix structural and plumbing problems, ensure ADA compliance, and improve the daily usability of Beaumont’s parks.

Tyrrell Park upgrades


This project will invest $25 million in upgrades and new amenities at Tyrrell Park, guided by the City’s Parks Master Plan. Improvements will enhance one of Beaumont’s largest and most beloved green spaces, ensuring it continues to serve residents and visitors with safe, modern, and accessible facilities for recreation, relaxation, and community events.

Athletic complex #4


This project will convert the existing softball fields at Complex 4 into regulation baseball fields and add key upgrades to support year-round use. Improvements include new and renovated restrooms, updated dugouts and bullpens, upgraded fencing, and other modern amenities. These enhancements will create a high-quality facility that better serves local athletes, families, and visitors while supporting Beaumont’s growing sports and recreation needs.
