How these propositions came to be

In the spring of 2025, the Beaumont City Council appointed a Bond Advisory Committee of 17 citizens from across the community to study whether or not to call a bond election and make recommendations about what should be included. The Beaumont Bond Advisory Committee (BBAC) also hosted a community survey and online and in-person open houses to gauge community sentiment.

The committee made their recommendation to City Council on July 29.

There were 17 members of the Beaumont Bond Advisory Committee (BBAC). Each member of City Council appointed two citizens, with an additional three citizens appointed by the City Manager.
The BBAC had six workshop meetings throughout the spring and summer of 2025. Those meetings were held on the follow dates.
