How are projects considered?

The Beaumont Bond Advisory Committee (BBAC) is using numerous resources and data points in their decision making. Those include city plans, guidance from city staff and outside experts, and community feedback.

Before the first BBAC meeting, city staff and consultants identified $1.2 billion + of potential projects. Through electronic voting, discussion, and deliberation, the committee trimmed that priority list to the $200-$300 million you see today. The final number will depend, in part, on your votes at this open house. In the BBAC's sixth and final meeting, committee members will refine these priorities and send a recommendation to city council based on your feedback.
