Prop C: Parks, Trails, and Recration

Proposition C would invest $37.2 million in Beaumont’s parks and recreation system with projects that aim to enhance safety, accessibility, and community amenities.

Tyrrell park upgrades

  • Tyrrell Park is a major regional destination for recreation, nature, and events.

  • Would upgrade existing trails, roads, and utilities; add new amenities to expand recreational opportunities; and, improve accessibility and public facilities

  • Based on recommendations from the city’s Parks Master Plan

Athletic complex #4

  • Would convert three softball fields at the Beaumont Athletic Complex into regulation baseball fields

  • Improves restrooms, dugouts, bullpens, fencing, and amenities for players, families, and visitors

  • Designed to support year-round use for recreation and tournaments

citywide Park restroom renovations

  • Systemwide restroom renovations in Beaumont parks

  • Replaces facilities with modern, modular units that meet accessibility standards and can be maintained more effectively.

playground equipment / park improvements

Playground equipment replacements and safety-focused upgrades to the following parks. The work aims to replace playground equipment that has aged beyond typical use and to install other basic park equipment identified in the City’s Parks Master Plan.
