Venue Tax is a proposed 2% increase to Beaumont’s existing Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT).

Only visitors (hotel, motel guests) would pay; residents would not pay

Revenue would help construct a new convention center in downtown Beaumont, as well maintain and operate the facility long-term.
